UGLY WAR
A bird could fly all the way she like,
A man could fight with the will of his might.
A dog could bark and wag its tail;
A Sergeant would send the military’s mail.
Why we should fight? Why, why, why?
Who’s the volunteer? I, I, I.
When does it stop? Nobody knows,
When should it stop? When the morale is low.
I’ve a story,
here to tell,
to tell somebody,
about the war,
war is hell,
or much worse,
worse than hell,
that’s my verse.
Who causes?
Who cares?
Hitler causes,
from the start of his lair.
Hitler’s a jerk,
a jerk of the nerd,
no, not a nerd,
he’s alert,
alert? Hell!
He’s not alert!
He’s full of hatred!
Hatred my ass!
He smells like a brass,
Maybe not him,
Maybe his shoes,
but it is him,
him that broke hell loose.
Ladies and gentlemen,
I ain’t no writer, so fuck Hitler!
