“Glass Eye” by the author, Alan L. Winters
A 1.11 Mb MP3 file that plays for 1:13 minutesI see the world through Glass Eyes.
Some people see it in lines of pigments,
Cubes of color, cubes of nothing.
My canvas is paper and emulsions
Multiple paper and emulsions,
Paper and multiple emulsions.
I am the congregate of Mench and Steiglits and Adams…
They are a congregate of me.
I see the world through Glass Eyes
And my canvas is paper and emulsions,
Multiple paper and emulsions,
Paper and multiple emulsions.

PS… A man at work said he could see me reciting in a Village coffee house. The seeds were sown. By the next day I had come up with profoundly perfect poem. I thought I had already posted it but I didn’t find it in my list. As I read it I would stop briefly along the way and he beat the bongos on the table. I will try to remember it here but if I find the original I’ll make the revisions.
