CAT MIND
What is in your mind, feline
As you stare at walls where nothing moves?
You disappear and reappear
As quickly as the wind.
Then like the mist on morning pond
I turn again and again you’re gone.
Are you none but fur and purr?
Or have you demon deep inside
As you stare and waken me
With piercing golden eyes?
Do you work alone my pet
Or Familiar to a Wizard queen?
What is in your mind, feline
As you stare through walls at things unseen?
