THE LADIES AT STARBUCKS

You see the tight apron around the thin slim waist
The ladies at Starbucks add to the coffee’s pleasant taste
As John writes up his journal and sips his cuppa joe
The curves on passing hips waver ever so slow

John writes up his poetry and take pictures outside
Capturing the street people on the lower East Side
Midst the druggies, and bums and hookers on the street
John stops in for a Coffee and something to eat

They are tearing down buildings and they rip up the road
John captures the scene all around his abode
Pictures of flowers and the snowy mountains far away
These girls down at Starbucks add beauty to his day!
