I just watched TV’s Sicko as aired by the USA’s Michael Moore
No Medicare is available to the USA’s suffering poor
Hillary Rodem Clinton and Barrack Obama Hussein
Promise they’ll bring in a med system to fight USA’s pain?

Clinton and Barrack say they will ensure that this is corrected
If the suffering poor masses in the USA get them elected
Our beautiful Canada has healthcare and we are doing just fine?
Except that in some very critical cases we must wait in line?

However, down in the USA, young penniless Mothers have to ask why.
Due to lack of expensive treatments their young children must die.
Moore took some poor USA citizens down to Guantanamo Bay
Where the USA’s El Qaeda Terrorists do not have to pay?

Moore brings home the Medicare message that some countries do care:
In the past the US’s election promises have been just so much hot air.
The candidate who is quiet is ex prisoner of war Senator John McCain;
Perhaps as the USA’s President he’ll legislate the easing of Pain?

Great poem, but the current Conservatives are trying to destroy it [our health system] by privatizing it.

I remember doctors in Canada foreclosing on people homes because they couldn’t pay a lousy $400.00 medical bill… that is what the Americans now have… and that is what Harper wants. Did you realize that he said that he was consulting with Senator Michael Kirby on health care reform?

Did you see Moore’s 911 film? He was dead on with Bush and yet the Americans voted the jerk back in. Now, 3 1/2 years into his second term they finally caught on, but Harper praises him, just like he praised Mulroney until this last fiasco.

What is with Harper… he can’t be trusted and Kirby cannot be trusted. The Republicans, Harpers American buddies, shot down the Clinton’s last effort to get some form of National Medicare. Didn’t you see the Republican’s adds apposing it?

The working man on construction or out on the farm

Can go to the hospital it’s the Canadian way
They can’t take his house and he won’t have to pay
The Americans wish they had our system in the US of A!
