JOHN’S POETICAL DAY
John went to a church on a Saturday morn
The pictures he took were beauty not porn
The preacher preparing his sermon within
Was he preaching against sexual thoughts and raw sin?
Behind the church and under the trees
John snapped the bare beauty whilst down on his knees
kneeling to snap perfect pictures and really not there to pray
And the perfect photos he took made a fine nude display!
The twitching humanity at the next coffee table
Was moving and jerking and twitching unstable
He could not control it the shaky display
Making John feel uncomfortable for the rest of the day!
These feelings are human, John is not unkind
But the twitching stole thoughts from out of his mind
He wished the cell-phoner would go to smoker’s hell
And take with him the ringer and device of Ma Bell!
The girls with jutting chest smiled in at John
And he faked a smile back till his coffee was gone
Ear phones on the jazz line and John at his Starbucks
Keeping tabs on the street life and those down on their luck!
