INADVERTENT
Did you inadvertently say something and meant something else?
Thoughts about writing with a broken pencil are pointless to one’s self?
Is your personal theory about earthquakes now on shaky ground,
Living here on the coast where the main fault is found?
Does a backward rhymester live inverse?
Are Billy’s poems getting inadvertently worse?
Jump from a bridge in Paris and you are in Seine?
Santa’s helpers are subordinate clauses, in name?
Unintentionally I sat down to write this wee rhyme!
Inadvertently I didn’t focus with a sensible clear mind?
This theme for our club for Sep 07 is inadvertently true!
This poem, like two thirds of a PUN, is PU (Phew)!
