THE IZZY DOLL AND BOOMER CAP CHARITY

The wee dollies come in daily, in cardboard boxes big and small
a great variety of difference is seen on the face of each wee doll
Some are quite little, and others, they appear to be a wee bit tall
Children of war and Aids Orphans, they absolutely love them all

Knit baby blankets and New Boomer Caps
Help out the newborn all over the map
The compassionate ministries help us send these out
And they are making a difference without a doubt

Over to Burma now called Myanmar we sent ten ptp’s
Field Doctors can immediately help to fight disease
We dug a well in West Africa to start a boy soldier school
We do the works of mercy by following the golden rule

We fed kids in the Kibera slum and fed the Ethiopian poor
we sent out thousands of Izzy dolls boomer caps and more
that my friend is what we did so far in two thousand and eight
and we are saving for an x-ray machine to meet a need of late

If you wish to help us, please send a cheque or knit an Izzy doll
Knit a baby blanket or Boomer cap and we will send them all
Through the compassionate ministries or to our folks overseas
And you will help to bring real smiles of joy to the least of these

Put them on a grey hound bus or mail them through Canada Post
And put the phone number on the box if you aren’t using the post
The greyhound folks will call us up and we will go in to Victoria
Pick the Boomers and wee dollies up and we’ll send them for ya
