HAIRY OR SCARY?

A bohemian writer searching out for his art!
He conquered his demons the fags and the rum
Writing about things that he does and he’s done

Looking at the picture I hear Rod yell in loud words
“Who is that house ape? Get a haircut you turd!”
Seems rather weird but we old soldiers rebel
So I grew a beard, ‘twas so spirituelle!

He does a recce around him with an experienced eye
Now with his haircut, he’s a normal looking old guy
Who takes beautiful pictures and writes poetic rhymes
A man for all seasons, local scenes, and all times!

A Vancouver Treasure from the lower East Side
He captures the changes with a sense of real pride
His pictures of people, and buildings and strife
With his words help explain modern Vancouver life!
