COLUMBIA

A quest to learn more about the unknown is one of man’s greatest needs
Irish Saints Brendan and Columba had sown curiosity seeds –

And in Fourteen hundred and ninety two – when Columbus sailed the ocean blue
He fulfilled that ancient Celtic Dream, and soon our brand new world was seen –

Those aboard the modern research ship that sailed far above the sky
Were called to God quite suddenly – the question will now be, why?

On February one, two thousand and three – “Columbia” sailed the heavenly sea
Our Lord called upon our Crew of Seven to remain forever, with Him in heaven
