An old AIRBORNE buddy and poetry critic sent me the attached joke photo, which inspired this true “Sore Willie” painful poem!HAVING A BAD DAY

After getting out of bed
I stubbed my toe and hit my head
I burned the toast, the coffee’s bad
The news from Kandahar is sad

I learned my pension is clawed back
Canadian troops had an axe attack
Loona our Orca, is now dead
and children starve for the lack of bread

I went into the shower
the water was hot
slammed the shower door and
my “Willie” got caught!

What else can happen?
What can I say?
Poor, sore old “Willie”
is having a bad day!
