It is not enough to feel compassion for the families of those who died a year ago. It is not enough to feel shock and horror for the happenings a year ago. It is not enough to honor those who gave their lives in service to search and rescue the innocent victims of one year ago!!
It necessary, vitally important, that we keep alive in our hearts a desire for justice, a need to find and wipe out all those who would practice terror.
Is this humanitarian?
NO!
Is this in keeping with the ideals of this country?
YES!
Our constitution declares that to all men there are certain inalienable rights:
LIFE
LIBERTY
THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS
JUSTICE
SECURITY IN ONE'S HOME
FREEDOM TO SPEAK AND LIVE AS WE BELIEVE TO BE RIGHT
Those who would attack us because they would destroy these rights and the ideals that stem from them have declared a war against what we live by and live for.
I am a war veteran and the last thing I would advocate is another war but in this case, the alternative is not a political agenda but a conflict between the forces of life and death, good and evil. There can be no grey area for in a matter of absolute good and absolute evil, the rights of all people to enjoy freedom, justice, respect for humanity is pitted against those who would rule the world through the use of terror - the slaughter of innocents - as their tool to maintain a selfish desire for power and wealth.
It is for these reasons that it is necessary to keep before the public eye the memory of the horror so that they do not become complacent, so that the healing of the loss does not preclude the reality of the need to destroy totally and without quarter all those who would practice or sanction those who use terror in any way.
There will be those who say that there can be some defense, some reason to mitigate the support of terror.
They are fools!!
There can be only the two sides and, if there are those who would defend their actions in protecting and supporting terror and its use, there can be no question of which side they are on.
Only the complete and total denouncement of terror, the exposure of those who practice it to the world and their elimination is acceptable.
If any country is not part of the solution, they are part of the problem and need to be treated accordingly.
To those who would attack The United States of America, let it be known that there can be only one result; your total defeat and elimination from the face of the earth. No Surrender, no negotiation, and no deals - no politics just defeat.
The sleeping giant has once again awakened and this time it will not sleep again.
