DEPENDENCY
Al Qaida and rebels have mounted forces
now evil incarnate is riding the iron horses.
In a last ditch effort to thwart peace's chance
and let the Devil enjoy his evil death dance.
We're trying to insure Shi'ite and Sunni's right
to govern together instead of in constant fight.
All people on earth are entitled to a free nation
much to evil's hatred and consternation.
God gave this world to me and you
our troops are there to see all through.
The hard won battles that carry a high price
in the name of democracy and equal rights.
To envision a world without our troops strengths
knowing terrorists would go to any lengths.
Is something beyond my mind's compare
I never want us to have to "go all the way there."
We depend on you, as does the world
so into death's doors, innocents aren't hurled.
In a world that can go oh so wrong
if we don't keep the faith and remain strong.
My admiration for you would be hard to disguise
it shines like a light from this trusting soul's eyes.
You're flying a flag of freedom in the barren desert
off your very back, you're offering them your shirts.
I see no more noble sacrifice in this life
than in defense of equality in place of strife.
May God continue to bless you in all that you do
our hearts and prayers remain with each of you.
