YOU

Mourning doves cooing humming of the Humming birds
Frogs on Lilly pads and turtles on rocks sunning
Butterflies enjoying midmorning’s nectar
Veils of water cascade over rocks from heaven’s sky

Sun reflecting rainbows off gentle cascading mist
Rippling pool reflecting back suns golden light
Morning flowers open to greet the morning light
Releasing their fragrance into the warm morning air

Lilly blossoms pedal fragrance the voluble pool
All sing and play in harmony to welcome the day
How many times I sit, and watch and listen
Waiting to see you again, but I felt your eyes from afar

On the large moss covered rock at the pools edge
Over looking where I once saw you there
With flowers in your in hair as you disappeared
Into the cascading misty veil from heaven’s sky
