SAMANTHA
Samantha was almost twenty three
When joined the lady’s club
The cost was large initially
But it was cheaper than the pub
The ladies did many things
With Benefits and Brunch
They even made napkin rings
And set them out at lunch
Samantha loved those dainty things
That the ladies did for fun
But she’d rather have a wedding ring
And marry the preacher’s son
One fine day the preacher’s son
Called on Samantha for tea
She said, “The cookies aren’t done,
“But the short bread I got for free”
Delighted with each other’s company
She said, “I’d like you to call again”
He said, “When you talk I hear a symphony”
She said, “Oh, no, I think my braces are bent”
