REPOSE PROSE
A modern poet in repose prose
Must mean he rhymes a lot
Rhymes counted on fingers and toes
Don’t need a mystery plot
Rhyme for the sake of rhyme
Is plenty good enough
No need for space or time
Just write it off the cuff
Meaning is only in the eye that sees
And the mood that’s found within
Whatever the mind wants it to be
Is a good enough place to begin
Rhyme after rhyme time after time
Eventually a poem is formed
It doesn’t matter the number of lines
Most certain a poem is born
