LYNETTE
Lynette loved classic cars
But she drove an old sedan
She thanked her lucky stars
That it had an oil pan
She saved her quarters and her dimes
For the best part of a five years
Waiting for the very best time
To buy a Porsche that had five gears
She found one in a used car lot
The color was an ugly puce
With plenty of old rust spots
But it still had some driving use
She bought it with no warranty
But the dealer filled it with gas
Windshield too dirty to see
But the old girl sure drove fast
