LILITH
Lilith was almost forty-two
Before she had a date
It was her size fourteen shoe
That reduced her to that state
Walking was a chore at times
But swimming worked out well
She could never do mountain climbs
But the swimming pool was swell
One fine sunny summer day
At the local swimming pool
Lilith found the perfect way
To capture her young fool
Gordon had a foot long fin
And swam the American Crawl
Lilith joined him in a swim
She knew in love he’d fall
Lilith and Gordon swim each day
In their back yard pool
Their young fry follow along
The family swims in schools
