KATHARINE
Katharine was an orator
She spoke of man and mind
Her hat was a board for mortar
The college graduation kind
Speaking was her day job
But at night you might find
Katharine was part of the mob
Stripping at clubs for the blind
Of course they couldn’t see her
But they could picture her in their mind
She took the money offered her
And told them they were kind
She can retire soon I think
From speaking in the day
But may end up in the clink
For taking blind men’s pay
