Drove big rigs over the road
She hauled food that was froze
She always pulled a full load

What a life she would lead

When our Jenevieve took a partner named Steve
She pulled a pup and doubled her load
Jenevieve and Steve hauled whatever the need
Of anyone wanting food delivered cold

What a life they would lead

Then Jenevieve Rose, the story goes
Grew half tired of over the road
Now she drove the way she chose
And Steve hauled the other half load

What a life they lead

Now Jenevieve stays at home it’s said
She told Steve to hit the road
She dispatches from her bed
And Steve hauls double the load
