GABRIELLE
Gabby wore her hair in braids
Through all twelve years of school
Just as all the other maids
It seems it was the rule
She used ribbons to tie her braids
They were yellow, blue, and red
Just as all the other maids
She took them down for bed
When she and all the other girls
Left their school for good
She traded her braids for golden curls
And wore a red cape with a hood
Now she walks through the woods
To her grandmother’s house each day
If it weren’t for the curls and hood
She could keep those darned wolves at bay
