EVELYN
A beautiful twin was Evelyn
Her sister needed some work
She always had a beautiful grin
Her sister had a quirk
For many years sweet Evelyn
Watched her sister with a smirk
Her sister played the violin
And wore a Scottish dirk
Evelyn was extremely thin
Her sister was portly round
Evelyn was bones and skin
Her sister, four hundred pounds
Evelyn paid half a crown
Her sister paid the rest
When they went to town
To buy the families crest
The crest was green on top
The bottom was dark brown
A picture of a wooden top
And a jester with a frown
Now they wear the family crest
On tartans they have found
Her sister’s clothes fit the best
Evelyn’s are falling down
One day Evelyn will complete her quest
To match her sister, pound for pound
