EVANGELINE
Evangeline knew where to dine
A connoisseur of the evening
A taste so fine for exquisite wine
Gave wine tasting a new meaning
The bouquet she loved on her tongue
The wine’s slow legs on the glass
She drew the aroma into her lungs
And made the perfect moment last
The food prepared was perfection
For her it was always the best
And the after meal confection
Was an experience in taste and zest
Behind the hotel dumpster
Is where she chose to dine
Sometimes the cheese was Muenster
And empty magnums of the finest wines
