CORA

Cora was a lissome lass;
She could bend herself in three
She often played in open grass
And in winter she would ski

She was the fourth in a group
That was normally made of three
She was part of a Vaudeville troupe
She played her part for free

One tour she played in mid July
In a city by the sea
She decided to learn to fly
And earn a college degree

She studied hard in her yard
And wore her pants Capri
She flew solo with a guard
And a prisoner trying to flee

For now the guard left town
And the prisoner copped a plea
Cora gave up flying for now
And works on her degree
