BELIEF
It is the nature of man to believe
Doesn’t matter if it is true or not
Whether it’s a lithe Celtic Queen
Or the old god of the parking lot
The point of the story is this
You can believe anything you want
But each man’s belief is his
It is your own belief you can taunt
Believing in a deity of sorts
Is a testimony of hope I think
But when good reason man aborts
Those beliefs have no reasonable link
It is the nature of man to believe
Tyranny is also the nature of man
And it is the nature of man to grieve
The destruction caused by his hand
