HEROES BEHIND WEARY EYES

Gazing though weary eyes are heroes
from wars that have gone by;
A war that has passed in time.
Wars come; with each leaving it’s
heroes to fight in silence
that war in thought.
The old gaze upon the younger
heroes of a war yet to pass.
Heroes answered our Country’s
call to meet a destiny for
our Country’s freedom.
Heroes who served and went
different path’s in life come
together as brothers through a
common bond and relive
times from the past, brings smile
from behind weary eyes.
