ROBIN

To call me Grace you choose
(which very much tickled my muse)
and altered my hat size…
not to my surprise
A sisterhood of searchers is good
to hunt up Mary if need we should
(I can’t believe I wrote that line)
(Just from laughin’… I am dyin’)
Rounding up our sisters
West Coast Ruby and that Charleston Belle
Carryin’ stoneless Sis Chris on a stretcher…
are the Fish Lady and That Texas Twister
We are off to hunt the mountains high
to search through heaven and hell
to bring Mary to our midst… do or die
Ann-Marie… I didn’t mean to leave you out
Now don’t you cry…
We swear we’ll bring her back
if we have to stuff her in a rucksack…
Why are all these goats following us…
don’t step on that chicken
… it will make a fuss…
This poem is so sad… or is it just so bad…
it makes my finger want to leap…
TOWARD THE BUTTON THAT SAYS DELETE…

This prompted Robin to write her poem, “Faye” – ©Copyright June 30, 2005 by Robin Amy Bass, which in turn, prompted this response.
