Faye and Santa - December 2006I thought the child
had sickened and died
I had sung it sad refrains…
wailed my goodbyes and cried
but all the while it
was there bidding its’ time
to spring eternal and true
… to came alive anew
on Santa’s knee…
sweet and mild
Long live the child…
