MY ILLUSIVE DREAMS
I had illusions within my mind
That our world was at peace
To each other we were kind
On earth all wars had ceased
It may only be just a fantasy
Maybe even illusive dreams
I seen peace and tranquility
I heard no war time screams
We seen no more starvation
Leaders reached out a hand
Caring for each others nation
Took the time to understand
There were no children dying
No more suicides with a bomb
I couldn’t hear children crying
Orphaned of a dad and mom
There were no more attacks
All around Gods great earth
For anything we did not lack
I could see just joy and mirth
Then I woke up in frustration
Tears flowing like in a stream
For it was just my imagination
I guess just my illusive dreams
