LABELED A TRAITOR
Some say I can not disagree
Today I am tagged a parasite
In our great country of the free
I just wonder where is my right
I just have seen no connection
To start a horrid war with Iraq
All many want is a confirmation
Before another country we attack
On nine eleven our nation cried
When terrorists struck the USA
We still hunt for those who hide
Bin Laden’s at large to this day
But if our country was in danger
I’d have no objections to a war
But to kill innocent strangers
Without the proof I still deplore
So call me a traitor if you must
When all I want is world peace
I wish our leaders I could trust
To show us proof for all to see
Why is it so hard to understand
That we have a right to disagree
When for freedom we All stand
It is blood we don’t want to see
Your right to speak I appreciate
I will never ask you for a reason
Although not the right to degrade
Even accuse someone of treason
We are in America a land of free
It was written in the constitution
I am not a traitor, never will I be
We only seek the best solutions
I really don’t feel this war is just
I must only answer to my creator
Now only in God do I lay my trust
So just don’t Label Me A Traitor
