UNDER THE SNOW
Under the snow
Lie the dead of the past.
Under the snow
Lie the dead of today
Nature has drawn
Quilts of white over each
Bare limbs keep watch,
just out of reach –
Few words were spoken
At the end of each life –
God, dad or Mother,
husband or wife…
Live for today,
Because they cannot…
Live well and honor
Each one in his plot.
