I WONDER
I wonder why I smile
When inside I feel a frown
I wonder why I sing
When inside I feel so down
I wonder why I laugh
When the tears are in my eyes
I wonder why I love so much
When my broken heart just sighs
I wonder why I try so hard
To make your world so bright
When mine is falling apart
And often void of light
I wonder why I search to find
The ones who are in pain
And try to fix their broken heart
While my tears run down like rain
I wonder why I care so much
For everyone I see
I wonder why I fail myself
And why I can’t fix me
I’ll go to a deserted island
And see my reflection in the sea
I would see nobody’s pain
Then maybe I could just fix me
