GUESS?

Zachary’s First Dam
Zachary’s First Dam
How could I describe that sound
Without telling you what it is
If I said peace and tranquility
Could you guess just what it is?

If I said what it made me feel
Such as lighthearted and carefree
Would that be enough for you
To tell me what I see?

If I described what it felt like
On a warm summer day
Cool soft and refreshing
As within its boundaries I lay

I’ll let you there to think
To study just what it may be
While I sit here at camp
Under the shade of a giant tree

And that is your best clue
As the puzzle falls in place
If you were here beside me
You might even enjoy a taste

It’s pure and lovely and shimmering
Ever changing as it goes
But the sweet melodious music
Continues to ease my woes

If I could bottle that music
I’d let it fill my dreams
I’d hear that beautiful melody
As it shone from soft moon beams
