How weary that my body’s grown
I’ve written many times
About the moments that I’ve known

I do not make excuses for
This road that I still walk
I know that it’s about the try
And not about the talk

My Mother always said that
God would tell me when to sit
And till I hear His words
It’s best to just get on with it
