DRIFTER
I am just a drifter,
And a drifter I remain
Another nameless nomad
Lost inside of His domain
Been rescued far too many times
Upon my reckless way
Seems most of all my troubles came
When I would not obey
Quit searching for tomorrow
Just keep focused on each day
For when I’m thinking far too much
I often go astray
Here at the end my vision
Once so cloudy, grows so clear
Still shake my head in wonder
At the road that got me here
So I remain a drifter,
With horizons calling me
It’s not the destination
But the journey, don’t you see
