DARK REALITIES

Dark Realities This life is but a journey,
And a cycle for us all.
As we try to do our best until,
It’s time for each to fall.

I’ve learned the truth of this world;
I’ve heard its constant pleas.
That we would find a way
To lose its dark realities.

It’s time for me to face up,
To those things I can’t repair.
It’s time to meet my fate;
This world is not about what’s fair.

My journey nearly over,
I must tell you from the heart.
This is not a place I’ll cling to,
When its time for my depart.
