THE LAND OF DELTA BLUE
(Mekong DELTA – Navy BLUE)

Too often I’m conflicted
Deep inside this world of ‘blue’
But I tell you now my friend
That I am glad for those I knew

I’m not the bravest man
To ever face the battles test
I was just another soldier
Who got caught up with the rest

Now all of us have struggled
With the darkness and the light
And always, those unspoken things
That we cannot make right

I learned so many things there
And I learned them very well
I learned the price of real –estate
When the owner wouldn’t sell

I learned that in the hardest times
The good in us shines through
Oh you should have seen their courage
In the land of “delta blue’
