SWEET LADY LIBERTY

My beautiful sweet lady
Oh what you’ve given me
I’ve walked this winding road
Because I’m here with you and free

Too often took for granted,
This blessing that she gives
The world sees us with envy
We’re the place where freedom lives

Outside her arms there is a world
In need of such repair
And so we fight to free
For freedom is a thing to share

I thank you so sweet lady
For this treasure given me
I haven’t walked the road so well
But always I’ve walked free
