DAYDREAMING

Lying on my back I watch
The clouds go passing by
It’s there I let my daydreams go
When they want out to fly

How I wish to go somewhere
Where we could all agree
But then I dream of many things
I know I’ll never see

Where are we all going?
If we never go as one
We are going nowhere
And we’re getting nothing done

Far too long divided
But I still know that it’s true
That when we are together
There is nothing we can’t do

An oversimplifying
Of my daydreams after all
But lifting up each other
Is when all of us stand tall
