BREATH

You have never known me
But I have known you well
And so it was so long ago
For you I chose to go to hell

There I died yet still remember
Those whose souls God let me share
And all the ones he chose to take
While leaving us there so aware

Now I have known too much of living
Now I have learned too much of death
But there I found the sound of loving
Is found inside of every breath

Author’s Note: Someday, someway… you will forgive me for where I am compelled to go, and the words, if I could stop them I would… yet still they come for me… and tear me apart… there are those brave few, who linger in the battle with me, and I pray that they know just how much they are loved…. simply for the lingering… till the ending of it all… be well
