SALUTE TO LIBERTY

The glittering “Statue of Liberty” sings in silence and has been saying it all,
From the Bedloe’s Island in New York Harbor where she stands pretty tall!
The huddled masses have flocked around her with their only hope,
About the liberty in everything, and justice they could really cope!

Speech, press, and religion in her domain are not at all bound –
By any limits, rather they do echo a special and unique sound!
All are equal, regardless of their past, and plenty to share –
Provokes the people around the world to soon come here!

This “Epitome of liberty” has been built by the sweat and toil –
Of so many immigrants, past and present, on this blessed soil!
America, the jewel on world’s crown, will forever stay that way –
‘Cause in God she always trusts and never she will have to sway!

Paths to reach ‘E Pluribus Unum’ [1] for too many years,
Presently bring so much joy that we all shed our tears!
Now here we feel the value of liberty and diversity as well,
That America is ‘the place’ where justice is going to dwell!

Immigrants of today, like those of past, are liberated to cook society meal –
Through their own talent, to bring it to the nation’s table without any deal!
They always renew America boldly, as America in turn is renewing them –
And the world knows that the Statue of Liberty stands for humanity game!

We, the Americans, are not defined by the birthplace or ancestry of our bloodline –
Rather, as a Nation, committed to democracy, is the beacon of hope and sunshine!
Diversity is our national mantra, and unity is the underlying glue –
To mesmerize the planet through the joy of liberty without a clue!

Unity and diversity stand “shoulder to shoulder” to rejuvenate this blessed land –
Like partners in pursuit of peace and prosperity, they always walk hand in hand!
America, the land of immigrants, is the gateway to stimulate new life with hope –
And openly shares the fruits of labor with solemn justice that we can really cope!

Well, by promoting diversity, America has truly attained the competitive peak –
And proudly shows the “nation’s strength” on the eagle’s eyes, toes, and beak!
Her vigor can be always felt from the hills of dreamy heaven to shining sea,
So this tiny heart widely opens to convey my cheers and salute to liberty!!!!
