TWO TENDER, LOVING HEARTS

The blessed and joyous union of a woman and a man
Can only be fulfilled when touched by Creator’s Hands.
Son, I know you’ve waited, for one who’ll fill your soul,
With love, joy and friendship, ‘the one’ who’ll make you whole.

In Didi you have found them, the things most never know,
Two hearts that beat together, echoing love’s peaceful glow.
Now, on your special day, loved ones gather near,
Please don’t be discouraged if Mama sheds a tear.

For, this Mom will e’er remember each moment we have shared,
I carry many memories of a love beyond compare.
Through the years I’ve watched you grow from child to man,
Eyes oft filled with wonder as you reached for Mama’s hand.

Son, in the book of life, ‘our’ chapter ends this way;
A glorious new life journey begins this very day.
Go forth from here together, live life as it should be,
Bound by finding ‘oneness’, shared on bended knee.

Side by side your journey will take you far from home,
Hold tightly to your Angel and you’ll never walk alone.
What God has joined together, let no man ever part,
The pure and rarest blessings of two tender, loving hearts.
