REOCCURRING TEARS

Wipe away tears of time passed
prepare for future streams to flow
red pours into foreign rivers
casualties continue to grow

Sadness rushing through the winds
as bodies fall from skies;
a chill forms around the world
soldiers families cry

Rains settle upon the grounds
some as the white of snow
look up high into the clouds
as they are arriving home

Accept the mists upon our faces
in remembrance of those who gave
release those inner feelings
in this world of soldiers’ graves
