MY BROTHER

You are a writer, teller of life
With a strong family, a wonderful wife
You served your country, stand tall and proud
A caring veteran, who speaks brisk and loud

Sometimes have stumbled along life’s roads
Many times carrying a heavy load
A man of talent, who shares with all
A man who will stand tall after a fall

You’re written words, the songs that you write
Make most stronger, fighting their fight
The fuel of your fire burns bright and clear
Knowing its ambers are friends standing near

A Marine you are, with stories to tell
A man in Nam who went through hell
A boy who came home a humbled man
Now a Veteran, knowing where to stand

So my brother I write this for you
I stand and salute you for all you do
You have made me proud, made me strong
Thank you Brother for all the songs
