CONRAD: LORDY! LORDY!
Regarding that Conrad, I’m sure lost for words
To think that he served in the House of the Lords
Of course there have been crooked lords through the years
I know that we’ve had many criminal peers
The war profiteers and their villainous tricks
The absentee landlords who preyed on the “Micks”
The lords and the dukes and the barons and earls
Were seldom as pure and as white as the pearls
But one tragic thing in Toronto took place
I think it’s the most awful kind of disgrace
In hopes of donations (they gained not a cent)
They made him the head of a proud regiment
The Royals, in fact, what is way past belief
Appointed the sod as their Colonel-in-Chief!!!
