PEACE WITHIN ONE’S OWN MIND
Have you ever sat and pondered the question, “What is?”; stared up and caught the glory that is within our grasp, yet so far away; felt the breeze as it softly brushes your brow, then mingles with the trees?
No, we here are always in a rush, never standing still, with fear that we might miss something that means nothing to us.
Try it, stand for a moment of time, raise your eyes to the sky, watch as Mother Nature unfolds her wonders for you to behold, you alone. Watch as a Deer glides with ease and grace, darting into an open glade, as an Eagle climbs than plummets earthward after its pray with faultless grace, a Groundhog as it pops its head from a burrow, trying not to be seen.
No, I guess that is not for you to do – that which should be done – you of little patience, all this would be boring.
So I will sit here, and enjoy all this myself, while you fight with the problems and man. Fight and kill one another off, but I will sit here and enjoy what Mother Nature has for me, and live longer in doing so.
God Bless you Mother Nature, for all that you have given us, the ones who care, so we may have Peace within our own minds, and one more day to share.
All of the wonders that you have bestowed upon us and others…
