WANTED VERSUS UNWANTED BABIES

So, what if God allowed only “wanted” babies to be born? It would mean that every single baby born would be loved; and being loved, their parents would naturally want to be more involved with the welfare and nurturing of their offspring. Since every baby would be raised by loving parents, then no babies would ever be neglected, abused, abandoned, aborted or murdered by some other method, kidnapped, put up for adoption or be removed from their homes by government agencies organized to protect children.

In fact, there would be no need for child welfare agencies (which would, by the way, eliminate a few jobs). Orphanages would have revolving doors. Babies who lost their parents due to death would always have someone who was willing to take the place of their biological parents. Birth control would be a mute practice. There would be a population explosion, for sure, like rabbits. There would be more babies making it to adulthood who would then bring more wanted babies into the world.

Before you know it, they would hear the pitter patter of so many tiny feet, they’d have to wear ear plugs to drown out the noise. Then again, on second thought, even that would be a mute scenario, because the sound of those tiny feet attached to those wanted babies would be music to every ear.

With more wanted babies in the world, the chances would be greater that some of them would be geniuses. With so many geniuses running around, knowledge would increase across the world. Who knows, one, or even some, of them might come up with an alternative to “peace via war”.

Think about it. Wouldn’t that be nice? Wouldn’t that be lovely? Wouldn’t that be simply Heaven? Wouldn’t that make them like God, being able to create their own heaven on earth; where parents love their children unconditionally and don’t abuse them or give them away; where all parents would have to be perfect, no longer needing someone to look up to… to turn to or pray to for guidance… like during those times when their children do things which make them want to wring their precious little necks? Yep, that would make for a perfect world, alright.

In order for God to allow only “wanted” babies to be born, He would need to rid the world of all those who don’t want them, or change their hearts so they would.
