SOMEWHERE IN THE UNIVERSE
Light rays bend and circle back
to the day before they sped off track
to beam again on a world brand new
prepared for souls… a chosen few
who will not die nor blow away
like some might think, in ashes gray
but live in oceans filled with fish
or in pea green meadows if they wish
or in the petals of a blooming rose
which lives forever, and ever grows
from heaven’s rays which glow so bright
there’s no such thing as dead of night.
