IMPORTANT CALLS

The day I had my phone installed,
I couldn’t wait to hear it ring
And saddened that nobody called,
I wondered why I bought the thing.
What if nobody thought of it…
To dial my number on their phone?
I became quite distraught from it;
So, all day long I stayed at home.
While waiting for the phone to ring,
I had to answer nature’s call.
The phone then chose to do its thing
And started ringing off the wall.
