BABYSAN
We had just finished a mine sweep
And broke for some cold chow
When the babysan’s came awalking
To beg for food to keep
Babysan…
I was manning the 60 as I always done
While my brother’s broke to eat
I was busy watching those little feet
All but one child came from the ville
I watched him leave the tree line
Why?
Babysan…
As he neared closer I saw his dark eyes
I saw the wire trailing him
I fired to my surprise
I killed you babysan
Will you ever forgive me?
Babysan…
